My cousin, Eddie Sudduth in North Carolina, emailed today this Christmas card of my grandparents, Hobert (1897-1973) and Emma (1903-1991) Edwards.I don't know when this card was done, but it's certainly more than three decades ago. Thanks for sharing!

Hi. My name is Leslie. I was looking up information on Biltmore and your website popped up. I saw Apple Festival and some stuff about Erwin. I don't know if you are from Erwin or just have roots there but I am from Erwin. Oh, by the way, I am 22 and I grew up there, I am currently going to ETSU, graduate in a month. Anyway what i thought was really cool about your site was that you vacationed in Palm Beach. I go there about 2 or 3 times a year with my fiance. He grew up there. Im probably wasting your time but I just thought it was cool how I was led to your site and found alot more than I was looking for.

Thanks for your comments. No, I never lived in Erwin, although my mother was born there. My parents do have a house in Wolf Laure, just across the state line. That area of East Tennessee and Western North Carolina is beautiful.
I had never been to Palm Beach before last summer. It's a different world!
