This was a very pleasant surprise.

(6) Knoxville News Sentinel: I’m not sure a newspaper website could look any better than this one. When we talk about de-cluttering sites and making them look “clean”, this is what we mean.

Apparently, they didn't look at bakersfield.com :-(

I say that especially given their comments on USAToday.

The design and how it works is the brainchild of Herb Himes and the other E.W. Scripps newspaper interactive folks out at the corporate "Northshore" offices ... AKA "Lords of the Northshore."
