Twitter does a "Rainy Night in Georgia"

Wow, this is how Twitter users covered the storm that damaged the Georgia Dome during the Alabama-Mississippi State game.

This is a Twittersearch result set for "georgia dome." Noticed some people were talking about the weather without using this exact search terms o I've far from caught all the relevant Twitters, but you get the idea of how the news spread among Twitter users.

I would also include GA Dome as well. It was pretty scary in that dome!

I wish I had. I bet there were tons.

Twittersearch is a more of a what is being said tool now. There were a few still in its system (most of the georgia dome are gone, too).

Here are the results at 6:28 a.m. for "ga dome."

This was very cool, Jack. Most interesting. Thanks for posting this.

Thanks Gina. It was pretty amazing to start seeing Twitters from the Georgia Dome.

I drove through Atlanta yesterday and the tall building looked very odd. As we neared, it became evident that random windows had sheets of plywood instead of glass. The scene was astounding! Looked very post-apocalyptic.
