Who knew, videos on YouTube are embeddable

AP needs to take a gun safety course before they start using their big guns; they’ve shot themselves in the foot again, again, again, again, again. (Damn, I’ve run out agains already).

Way to hang in there Frank Strovel.

  1. One of the biggest problems with the AP is that the board is composed of people who are so rooted in the old distribution model.
Looking at the AP from the outside, it’s almost appears that the board knows their ship is sinking. Instead repairing the hull of the ship by creating new distribution channels, they stand on the deck screaming threats at the folks showing the AP how to repair the ship.
AP should be watching how people are obtaining and using the AP generated content. Then create monetize that content carried off to nonmember websites. Why not sell 15 seconds of ads time into the videos that they place on Youtube? TheNewrooms.com seems to be already doing that with the AP stories.
