  1. A theory (not mine, but it got me thinking): Journalists are by nature cynical, distanced and mistrustful. Entrepreneurs are by nature optimistic, involved and forward-looking. Any chance journalists just aren’t wired to be entrepreneurs, and we should stop beating them up for that? As the old adage says, it’s like teaching a pig to sing …
